Wasn't it about a month ago now that he was all set to sign an extension? Have I missed an announcement saying that he's actually signed it or are we still waiting for him to?
He has agreed another year, I'm not sure if it's actually signed yet, but it was definitely all agreed.
It's great to see a everyone's perception of Daws change. I must admit last season wasn't his best, and there were the odd moments of this where he underperformed. But he's done well with the other back 4 up till now. He's a model professional as well. He deserves it.
I've never been Dawson's biggest fan and didn't agree with Nick dropping Dudgeon but credit where credit is due, Dawson has been a very consistent performer and has performed far greater than last season.
