Anyone know how his injury is? Also, who took the armband when he went off - I couldn't tell?

Gerrard tweeted after the game something like, that he was honoured to wear the armband.

Cut to his head according to NP but with 8 mins to go to HT decided to sub him (with Jack Hobbs going to CB and James Chester to LB) to get his head stitched I presume.
    Should be ok for Norwich.

The gaffer is clearly trying to give Jack Hobbs as much game time as possible. They're best pals from their Leicester days, so NP doesn't want to leave him out in the cold.

If McShane or Cooper was on the subs bench, I'm pretty sure we'd have stitched up Daws and let him continue instead of making a change (although the cut to his head did look quite nasty). Will easily make Norwich

I hope Daws is ok but I have to say we looked much stronger with Chester at left back and more creative down that flank. Chester thinks about what he's going to do with the ball when he has it, Daws is a 2 trick man. And he's 90mph faster than Daws.
