Davy was speaking on Irish radio earlier about the BHA's decision to not allow him to ride at aintree due to the injury he suffered at Cheltenham. Doctor Adrian McGoldrick the doctor for the Irish jocks gave him the all clear and he can ride away here in Ireland and will do so. He said he will try once more to appeal it but doesn't think it will change. It seems bizarre that he gets the go ahead here yet the British authorities see reason to not allow it, is there other agendas at matter here or what is going on? I think it's the first time one has overruled the other 1's decision, he had a good book of rides there too so makes it all the harder on him.
Is an absolute joke. I'm sure davy is not hard up but this is his livelihood we're talking about. If i was him i would be consulting a lawyer regarding the loss of earnings. how can he be deemed unfit to ride at Aintree, yet will be riding the very same day.
Madness Hawkeye I know, he'll be in Thurles Thursday riding yet has to miss a good book at Aintree, bewilderment is what he must feel
