The announcer during the game said that there will be teams coming in for Davies in January. He might not be the only one people try to come in for I suppose.
Hopefully we won't lose any. But I would never want to stand in a player's way if a BIGGER club comes in for them. I just want us to make sure we get our pound of flesh next time!
Dean Sturridge mentioned this about Davies on NBC. He has seen most of our games this season and knows about Davies quality. Yesterday Lee Dixon was asked about how Swansea and Southampton had brightened up the league. He agreed but also added that Hull had done also.
This commentary team was shown at the beamback in the sports bar at the KC. I did wonder who they were actually reporting for. They were quite good.
Sturridge was really good, he treated both teams as equals on the pitch and he was knowledgeable. The journalist commentator I found patronising as they all are, banging on about how Hull wouldn'tve been expecting any positive result and how "Steve Bruce would take a 1-0 defeat now" just after they scored......cheeky twat!

You heard that wrong. He said something close to "moments ago I said Steve Bruce would happily take a 0-0, now he'd happily take this 1-0" talking about AVB as the camera focused on him.
