Come on, it's nothing to do with Liverpool. I completely disagree with what he is saying in regard to not playing on the 15th - they want to respect the families of the deceased. They've done it for years and I don't expect them to stop for us.

It's completely to do with the FA, if they would let us play this game on Satruday and Liverpool on Friday it'd all be rosy.

He's right to a point but the way it's put across is poor.

I think some people percieve Liverpool as thinking their tragedy is worse than anyone else's. They can play on the anniversary but we (Liverpool) wont. As I say there is a perception that it's another case of Liverpool acting as if they are more special than anyone else.

It's fine when it doesn't effect other clubs but on this occassion it has (i.e us).

Ultimately though it's not Liverpool's fault, it's the fault of the F.A and ITV for:

    a. not having the semis at neutral venues other than Wembley
    b. ITV scheduling being more important than the wishes of England's last remaining side in Europe
    c. Not agreeing to play on an alternative date such as the Friday or following week etc.

Exactly. It's a pretty exceptional circumstance and if the FA are prepared to respect Liverpool's wishes, they should do the same for us. I understand the Spanish F.A are helping Barca in this manner.

It's ITV that have dictated we play on Sunday at 6pm and not on Friday, which the FA have taken right in the arse, balls and all, because ITV pay them silly money for the rights!

I agreed with Boris Johnson, before he had to apologise.
