Just took a quick look and nobody has posted this

It seems that Davide was amazed at the atmosphere at the game yesterday, and he was so delighted to make his Newcastle debut

He looked decent when he came on, and looked comfortable on the ball and he seems like a decent lad <ok> .

St James' is louder than the San Siro <badger> <badger> <badger>

Later in the interview, Santon confirmed that, indeed, he has never seen a mackem in Milan.

I really do hope this never ever gets old <laugh>

Hard to judge from 15 minutes but he looked composed, seem to remember a nice little back heel while defending.

And classy, stylish and hard working and probably going to be a great acquisition. And seem to remember he had a nice little run down the right wing and a decent cross.

How did he do defensively? I didn't notice.

  6. Didn't have that much to do but he seemed to be quite level with Ober and Bale for pace tracking back <ok>

He's saying all the right things, lets see if he can do it for a full 90 on the pitch now <ok>

Great stuff. I noticed him do one particular good defensive clearance when he had a few spurs players on him, other than that there wasn't enough time to see. He looked very comfortable though, no shakiness at all.

Definitely should. If he prefers to play right back then hopefully we'll get Pieters in Jan and our defense will be flawless, if a bit thin in terms of CB cover.

  11. If he's gonna start at any time than Wigan would be a nice little starter for him.

    I'd play -

    ---------Ba----------Best----------

    Jonas----Tiote-------Cabaye---Marveaux

    Rayor----Colo--------Taylor-----Santon

    --------------Krul-----------------------

    <ok>

Is he not likely to be alright by next year? Honestly haven't been bothered to follow him since we got Santon and I assumed he'd be mostly LB.

Oh we'll be HOT **** if we managed to buy a ''proper'' LB so Santon can play RB for us. Woah imagine this.. :

    Krul
    Santon Saylor Colo Pieters/Cisscoco
    Cabaye Tiote
    Johnson Ben Arfa Guti
    Ba/NEW ST

That team would comfortably make the top 6 IMO. *Adam Johnson from City.

Adam Johnson is probably my favourite PL player to watch outside of Newcastle, if we got him I would be over the moon, but I don't see it unfortunately.

I'd love Adam Johnson, he's absolutely class, criminal how he never gets in Man City's team. Damn our wings if we got him would be SORTED.

I think Hoillett would be a more realistic option for right wing, a very exciting player.

Another very good option aswell.. <ok>

Very quick, can score a few crackers, dribbling is quite good and on his day he could probably get into most teams outside of the top 6 including us.
