What do you reckon on David Villa joining us? I reckon £2million + Puncheon would do it. He's surplus to requirements at Barca and he's got Champions League and World Cup experience, so the Championship could be the next step up for his career.

Plus, Puncheon is as good as Messi so he should cut it at the Nou Camp easy.

£2m?! No thanks, that money is much better of spent elsewhere. We got Cork for £750k and people like you are suggesting £2m (plus a player!!) for someone like Villa, Jesus wept.

Just about!? Seriously guys, I mean obviously he would be behind Doble (when he returns) in the peking order, but he would be good back-up

I think we should send him on loan to Eastleigh or Salisbury to get him into the English style of play <laugh>

I've heard Pele has stated he's impressed with Saints form, adding "A strong Southampton team is good for the sport in England"

Ah yes, I see where I slipped up there.

OK, I'd like to see it in the National or Local Press or Media. Does that cover every base..? ;)

I'm sure we could get the Daily Fail to print it.
