There could be a number of reasons why they've released him, for 3 million in wages over 2 years he's worth the punt

 

12 goals in 31 games for Hercules who released him due to being relegated. But then again we should be looking at players the caliber of shefki kuqi!!!

 

No doubt he's good, wouldn't be downbeat if he was linked.

But it's highly unlikely.
