Great news, Cottager. And I was always a little worried about the emotional pull if he had a season with his home-town club of Leeds. If they had managed to get promoted and wanted to buy him from us, I had pessimistic visions of him putting in a transfer request, falling out with the club if we didn't agree to a sale, etc. etc. I think the Ipswich loan is the perfect outcome from a Fulhamish point of view. He gets first team football to help him keep developing, we get another year of Schwarzer and then get an excellent replacement for him in a year's time. Life is good!
