Saw this guy play against us twice last season, as well as a few other times for Ipswich.

I know that we can't be that picky with who we bring in (at the moment), but he really didn't look all that... well... good :emoticon-0114-dull: People have been comparing him to Michael Brown, and saying how he would be a brilliant replacement for him.

Maybe I was unlucky with the games I saw, but he just seemed... average. A little like Richard Hughes (do we really need another one of him!?). If he does sign for us, I really do hope that he improves a little, as we'd be taking a step backwards if he doesn't.
 
Needs must Jake. We can't afford the wages of the likes of Brown so it stands to reason that those whom we can afford may not be in the same class. I thought that we lost that edge when Brown was no longer playing - and, dare I say it, Utaka. They might not have been the best Premiership standard but stood out in the Championship. <somersault>
