Check is stat's in Europe last season, playing as lone striker in the most defensive team ever. The world's full of player's that have come good after changing club's.
Any more than 4 million though is too much of a risk.

Sorry, I forgot to elaborate on that.

    He's much worse than that.

He's no world beater but from what I've seen, if he's given the chance to gain some momentum and confidence he'll get goals

In The Times (subscription only) George Caulkin and Tony Barrett (Liverpool journo) have written an article on Liverpool's transfer plans. This is the relevant bit from the article:

So that means Bruce thinks Ngog is worth £7m, surely?

It also says you're close to signing Westwood (GK) though I'm sure you know that already...

£13m plus N'Gog would be a very poor deal for us as I'm sure most Sunderland fans would agree. Will be interesting to see if that's how it pans out.

If as stated Bruce rates N'Gog at £7m I wouldn't even entrust him to manage a fantasy or football manager team.

    All from Twitter.

    Some guy from the times:

#LFC have offered £11m plus N'gog for Henderson. #SAFC want a tad more. A deal will be done.

    Caulkin:

    #SAFC value Hendo at £20m - want £13m plus N'Gog

    Another football twitter site:

    David N'Gog + Cash = Jordan Henderson --> Liverpool #LFC #SAFC

All these reports coming from the last 10 mins or so. Sounds like it's virtually a done deal.

Just thought I'd let you know that Graeme Bailey from Sky Sports says you have agreed a fee and that there will be info on SSN website shortly...

I thought he was OK like, but looking at those stats, he's Liverpool's Nile Ranger!

It better be 20 mil plus N'gog. If it's 13 plus him we have been had. I hope we have been bright enough to put in a sell on clause.

I'd take £20mil + N'Gog everyday of the week but I doubt even the Scousers are thick enough to offer than deal. Hmmm...

Topcat- totally agree- I wouldn't mind N'Gog and don't think he's as bad as everyone makes out (how many of those apps are from the bench?) but if it's not at least £18m with N'Gog I might actually give up hope for the summer.

Valuing N'Gog at £7m is cringeworthy. Didn't we buy Gyan for about £12m?! And even sell KJ for £8m? Arghhhhhh!
