theyre better under martinez. moyes is a tight **** and would have signed conor wickham for 2m instead of lukaku for 30m
I think you are right about them being better under Martinez though, they haven't had the best of starts, Everton. But I think they are a much better footballing side under Martinez, and they have a very good front line (Lukaku, Naismith, Eto'o, all quality players)
I could have seen him going to Spurs or Newcastle. But actually despite poor starts by both, I think the respective managers' jobs are safe for the time being. Villa perhaps was another option in the not to distant future and similar club to Everton in many ways.
He did his best with a squad just past its use by date and club botched summer of transfer fiascos and not even a full season after a guy who had been there forever left, LvG would have found it even tougher last year tbh and most likely have had less points than he does this season at this stage.
