http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26481282?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter I agree with what he said, no player deserve that amount of abuse, also Cleverley has done nothing wrong for him to get booed by England fans on wednesday night.
yes he has Sherlock, impersonating a footballer! Us public dont like fraudsters. They should've thrown rotten veg at him
Martinez spoke up on behalf of Cleverly before Moyes, and Moyes is the players own manager, piss poor public relations from Davey.
Same as Frank had a few years ago when the perception was he wasn't playing that well for England. I guess it's more to show Roy we don't want him in the squad than to make the player feel bad. Not nice I'm sure. Roy's not helping him by playing him though.
Why the thumb down mattht? Hit a raw nerve? Moyes so was so busy wallowing in his own ****e and writing his grovelling letter to the Utd faithful to worry about Cleverly, its only because a manager of another club has spoken up that he has been obliged to.
The petition has been around for a week so why didn't Moyes speak up at his daily news conference earlier in the week?
Got to wonder why though. He looked alright for United a while ago but has never performed that well for England and has been awful all season. Doesn't help counter the argument that players get picked on who they play for or reputation more than form. As midfielders go, Huddlestone and Barry to name just 2 have been much better this year.
Of course players deserve the abuse. They get paid a fortune, Tom is probably on more in a week than most on here earn in a week ( not me, I sell meth to school kids in Swansea to supliment my wages ). He should get stick for being so poor. if he showed some signs of improvement then he would quickly lose all the grief. Its down to him now, prove the doubters wrong, most of which are United fans.
