A manager I've always admired and liked just gave an interview stating he thinks that Man Utd are having to play the officials as well? I mean, is he for real? The one club that has for 20 years enjoyed playing with 12 men every week moaning on now. He said the freekick which led to our first goal was laughable. I thought Evans was lucky not to be carded having taken none of the ball and all of Fletcher with a knee in the back and he was moaning it was never a penalty. He didn't mention that Fabio was extremely fortunate not to be red carded though, as he mustn't have seen that. Like I said I've always had time for Moyes but it shows the pressure is getting to him with ****e interviews like this. Still a tough leg to come but I'd love to stick it up them big time down there. Would a Sunderland win see him sacked?
He's a nasty little man trying to fill a nasty big man's shoes ......... Martinez lost Fellaini, permanently, and Baines, temporarily, and turned Everton into a much better team than Moyes ever managed.
Totally agree Cest. Used to be honest and a decent guy. Saying things without merit to ease the pressure on himself now. Shame but guess he's in a bit of a corner, sad to see tbh although glad we contributed to his situation!
Never knew why so many here slagged on Martinez earlier this year as nothing more than a fizzy pop manager. That brigade has learned something new about him and Moyes.
Let's see where they finish before we go make him manager of the year. Yes he has surprised me but still half a season to go yet.
Like I said, he's doing his best to prove my feelings about him wrong but long way to go before we hand out the medals.
Jordan Henderson reckons he misses the atmosphere of a proper club with partizan fans, so he told me at xmas
Marriner wouldn't have given the pen! It was the wonderful linesman! Marriner tried his best to give united every chance. Kept fabio on the pitch and dreamed up 5 minutes of injury time and then went over that!!!!!!! Moyes trying the old ferguson trick of buying decisions. We need a very strong ref at old Trafford.
Just admit defeat Cest, in this case, the bloke is a class act and will manage a top club, probably in Spain or Italy. Sometimes you just have to shrug and say 'fair enough'.
