Apparently Jol is planning a bid for the above-named Oldham Athletic 18 year old. Please, let's make sure we don't get the wrong David Mellor - we don't want our lovely club to have anything to do with the scarf-swapping, tabloid-baiting, irritant-on-legs. Mind you, it's hard to imagine a sentence that would include the words 'David Mellor' and 'Athletic' is it was the clapped-out has-been politician we were talking about. Does anyone know anything about the one we're actually interested in?
The 'real' David Mellor is an 18 yr old full back. Apparently in the order of £500k. Unfortunately the 7 year rule on MP expenses has run out on the other sycophant.
Dont realy know what to say about this one. But considering his club and location,its amazing that with their enormous network of scouts why Man U, Man C, Liverpool and Everton, have not stepped in first. Lets hope they have overlooked a future star
