On his twitter feed when asked are the Mittals leaving @richardsteele30 yes I think it'll happen quite soon. Surprised it hasn't happened already to be honest.
He doesnt confirm anything, he just has a feeling. Anyway, in order to sell their stake, someone has to buy. They just cant pull out unless they write off all thei shares.
I don't believe any off this. One rumour starts and before you know it everyones on the bandwagon. As i said it does not make financial sense but if they are 'offski' then in my mind they are not QPR and like players that don't want to play for the club should go. However i think its all BS
No way the Mittals would never go near those 2 clowns again. What we need is a club statement to confirm this is BS or we will be pulling our hair out in the next few weeks
Why would they want to be involved with Tango when he tried to rip them off for the QPR shares when they tried to buy them.
DM doesn't really have that clout now. Did he not used to work for the bbc? I seemed to remember him saying once that he didn't really know anything at QPR anymore (all his inside info went when Palidini did). Still think he has also listened too much to his mate scott.
No doubt the papers will pick up on it and that plank will have got his bit of attention he so desperately wants. Thats all this is about. Some twat living out of a bin in Poland who has some serious mental problems.
David McIntyre‏@davidmcintyre76 @QPR1980 it's my personal opinion and I've already been proved wrong as they're still involved. He is duluded as the 'bin boy'! I'm off to bed as what will be will be but i will take all this with a pinch of salt.
David mac used to call them 'the mythical mittals', claiming they never wanted anything to do with the club, and that they had no involvement. Think David's had a dodgy curry.
Thats exactly right flyer and I may be on my own here but if this does turnout to be bs Scott jones should be run off twitter by us. This is coming from the same bloke who had his twitter suspended for accusing tony of breaches of human rights.
Indeed. On the other hand, it will be interesting to see if the Amit Bhatia love-in continues if the Mittals do sell up. His enthusiastic support of the club and regular Twitter activity would possibly start to look a bit hollow to some fans.
Does it matter if the Mittal shareholding is sold to somebody else? No. It makes no difference. Just because he has wealth in the billions does not affect the club that much. It might have an effect on the bragging rights "our owner has more money than your owner", but when you look at the business - and it is a business - it is not run in the same way as Ambramovich's plaything, Chelsea. The Mittal shareholding is not a majority shareholding. Ultimately, Mittal has very little, if any, control within the company. As long as whoever buys the shares has enough money behind them to make sure that the banks are happy with the guarrantees over the amount of borrowing then everything is still rosey. Problems at other clubs have been caused by people buying in - usually taking full control (which is not the same as in this case) - and then not having the money (or be willing) to provide surety to manage the club's debts. It is then that the banks get the jitters. Too many people have bought into clubs and then have tried to refinance in order to get their money back - and more - then try to sell on. It works for a while until the chain reaches the point where nobody is willing to buy in as there is no more money to be made in the short term. Then the whole thing collapses. Any party that buys the Mittal shareholding will not be in a position to do this ..... unless the shares are sold to TF and his consortium. I can see no way that TF would want to act in that way. He has too much to lose. So, I say again ..... there is no problem.
