    He's bankrupt apparently.

    Having to sell his shirts and stuff (not medals as he, well, doesn't really have any to sell) , I hope he gets himself back on track soon.

    Even though footballers are over paid feckless ****wits he really deserves our support.

    On a personal basis, no sympathy whatsoever. We mere mortals get paid peanuts compared to footballers, yet we all live within our means. Being paid megabucks and then blowing it all deserves no sympathy whatsoever. Guess he never heard of saving some for a rainy day, perhaps in his instance it pissed down for a fortnight, but he was in a far better financial position than the rest of us.
