I knew he couldn't save squat but a bloke that played for England and as many clubs as he could is now flogging his crap on ebay.

Is he really skint or just avoiding his creditors? either way I bet he has more money than Dick Plumb

Apparently he had to pay out £3m in a divorce settlement. Those of us who have been thru similar will have every sympathy with him <ok>

It works out a lot cheaper in the long run.

Just because I drive a top of the range Jaguar, have ten holidays a year and have a number of properties doesn't make me rich.:emoticon-0110-tongu

On another subject, I have just come back from the Tower of London and was truly overcome and emotional at all the poppies on show. Also at the volume of people paying their respects, thinking about all of those people who gave up their life so we could live in a free democratic Country made me feel very humble.

I went about a month ago and it made me extremely proud, humble, upset, grateful, angry, patriotic and more than a bit worthless.

I just wish they would make poppies that don't fall off. I'm on number 4 already.

Ps I actually bought a ceramic one from I think Super's recommendation, when that arrives I will need a large pin the size of a knitting needle but that bugger wont fall off running for a train.

I was at the Tower on Sunday. Britain at its best. I often wonder if the Selfless Generation would have bothered had they seen Britain today. The EU has done most of what Hitler could not manage (apart from the violence).
