    Thoughts/Opinions on this?
I personally think his a idiot, he should of had about 3-4 more fights at heavyweight vs Adamek,Chagaev, Fury and maybe another one then challenged Vitali and then let that be his last fight and he most likely would of lost but at least he could have bowed out giving everything in his one last fight and giving everything.
With someone with the arrogance of Haye i honestly didn't think he'd want to go out the way he is, instead his forever going to be known as talking the talk then blaming a toe for his loss vs Wladimir, In the last round he could have gone for broke and risked getting knocked out to try and get the knockout, at least that way he'd have everyones respect because he would of went down fighting.
Looks like our hope in england getting the heavyweight titles back lie with Fury lol

Never beat anyone of note? But he beat the great Audley Harrison, the unstoppable A-Force that is now strutting his stuff on Strictly Come dancing lmfao that fight will forever be known as the most pathetic boxing match in the world. And theres been rumours they've been in talks for ages but the boxing board confirmed haye has said he won't be renewing his licence, his also stepped down as a promoter and to be honest haye has nothing to bring to the table vs vitali apart from the hope in revenue so his not going to get a fair 50-50 deal and being how arrogant haye is i don't think here take having nothing his own way or nothing he wants. I did actually think the fight would happen a month ago when Vitali said he wanted to knock haye out and embarass him further what could be the worst thing Vitali could do to haye? Attempt to knock him out in his own country.

Haye has been great for British boxing, he unified the cruiserweight division stepped up to heavyweight and won a belt, took on the divisional No.1 and just came up short.

Haye brought a lot of new fans to boxing, and though his fight with Wlad was a damp squib, Haye has been in some very entertaining fights.

When Haye fought Wlad he also made all of the concessions to make the fight happen. Maybe he should have take a few more fights before the Klitschko fight.

Haye is also a big boxing fan and has supported the likes of Khan and Froch and their travels. He took groves under his wing and helped him a lot in training camp for the fight with DeGale.

I don't think Haye will retire, just as yet, he always planned to retire at 31, but he also planned to be the true Heavyweight champ. He knows he let himself down in the fight against Wlad and the fight against Vitali gives him a chance for redemption.

Would like to see Haye face Povetkin or Helenius, before the Klitschko fight.

It could be a tactic to hurry up any deal involving a fight with one of the Klitschko's. Haye's ego is surely too big to let his career end with a defeat and poor performance?

Let's be fair here - David Haye should never really have tried to be a heavyweight.

He beat Valuev but that was hardly a classic - Valuev being roundly voted as the worst Heavyweight Champion ever.

To give Haye his due, he was one of the best cruiserweight's ever produced from this country. He simply moved up in weight to make the extra money.

David Haye will not come out of retirement to have a number of fights, he MAY have one more against Vitali Kilitschko but that will be purely for the money.
