Lol yeah, no offence Burnley, but foxy is too good for you

The rest of the article is bizarre! It says we are buying Forster for 2mill then goes back on itself and says Birmingham are loaning him or something? Hard to understand!!

Also drury to Peterborough... Maybe one day to end his career, but he's got at least another season left in him and I really want to see a proper torch passing to Tierney as I consider him to be an amazing player, and possible future Norwich legend.

Considerable logic in the Drury rumour. Smith was brought in to cover/replace Drury but couldn't settle South of the Border. Now he has the chance of Premiership football, has got a large pay rise and is out of the price range of a move back to Scotland he might well now settle and be cover for Tierney. With Lappin and the new lad from Man Utd able to also provide emergency cover at left back Drury would be surplus to requirements in a squad restricted to 25 players.

Drury is still a very good left-back, nonsense to be thinking about getting rid of him!

Fox is good but as with a few others, I fear they're just too lightweight to cut it in the Prem. Perhaps if he gets down the gym and bulks out a bit he'll be OK. Technically excellent player, mind.

We really do have to start looking at the wider picture. If my maths are correct we already have at least 25 players on the books over the age of 21. If 3 more come in then 3 more have to go - we financially cannot afford to pay people to just turn up for training as they have not made the 25. As the case of Smith illustrates our players are now on Premiership wages and are no longer attractive to lower league clubs either as a loan or to buy because of the wage situation. In that situation PL might be forced to sell players he would prefer to keep if he cannot get rid of players like Smith and Hughes who he would rather sell. In that senario Smith stays and Drury goes.
