Proud, merge the two threads Will be interesting to hear Swans' views. Well done on your season so far by the way, refreshing to see an underdog playing the game it should be played in the Prem. Usually they sign a big man and lump it up to them. (Norwich- Holt + Morrison, QPR- Helguson + Bothroyd)
Starts off really well where ever he goes then tends to fade( badly) the longer he stays at a club. Has plenty of talent but there is something missing, most managers seem to give up finding out what that missing element is and move him on within 2 yrs. Bristol city Wigan athletic Sheff Utd Swansea city Porthsmouth (loan) Thats alot of clubs for someone who is 24 yr old !! It didnt help his confidence by missing his penalties in crucial games last season, he went rapidly down hill from there and his career stalled yet again, best word to describe him is probably Enigma !! .
scores goals but is not part of brendans plans so he is far better off getting a club that will play him. he done well for pompey as a stop gap for them so whoever gets him will have a tidy player...
Gets better eh, not only are Lesta going for free transfers now, but free transfer journeymen. Well done, just the kind of qualities required to realise your ambitions eh Lesta are turning into a proper soap opera
Sounds like a player with a lot of potential to be excellent, fast, hardworking and has a lot to prove. Get him in, I say.
When he's on form, he's very good. When he loses form, he goes to the other extreme - nothing in between. Obviously has talent but it has to be dragged out of him on a consistent basis. Wish him the very best.
442 will suit him I think. He's a great taker of free kicks and has some potential to be a dangerous wideman. I hope he fulfills his potential with you guys, good luck for the rest of your season!
Confidence is the key with Cotterill, if he is feeling right then he will perform on the field. Once his head goes down he may as well move onto a new club as said in other posts, he seems to fade away if things are not going his way. Still young and with the right people around him he can fulfil his potential.
Thanks to all the Jacks for their contributions - balanced and informative and for me the guy sounds like he could have a future Thanks also to loo_block_amberpuri for his contribution; whilst rather less balanced and even less informative, this new recruit to our boards is already one of our most frequent and avid posters
what i cant understand is that he is an international and has been freed, surely welsh football isnt that bad that an international player cant get a game with his club and now been released
