David Connolly has left Pompey by mutual consent. Sorry to see him depart, but it's probably for the best, for both PFC and the player himself. I wish him luck wherever he ends up playing or coaching.

We have replaced him already with 21 year old 6'3" striker Paul McCallum on loan until the end of the season from West Ham.
He might be the type of player who can perform well partnering Matt Tubbs in attack. Let's hope so. Looking forward to seeing him on Saturday against Burton.

Finally, Danny East has gone out on loan for a month to Aldershot, to regain match fitness. Hope he does well there.

No one in yet for Big Pat - I'm sure he could do a good job somewhere.

Just read that DC has rejoined AFC Wimbledon to replace Matt Tubbs in attack, having left them 14 years ago. Apparently last time he was there he played alongside manager Neal Ardley. Akinfenwa and Connolly together in attack is an interesting thought - a combined age of 69 !!

    He certainly divided opinion.

Lots of ITKs touting stories of his abominable behaviour, anyone not on social media oblivious to the stories.

Personally....... I liked him and wish him well.

Yes agree 3rd eye - felt his nous was sadly lacking this season - we'll never know what really went on - wish him well.
