David Bentley has had surgery, following an injury that he's picked up while on loan at West Ham and is expected to be out for 6 months. Sorry to hear that. Not going too well for him in the last couple of seasons, is it? Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

They do Spurf, £405 each fitted at Bentley, wrapped around wheels that are £1295+vat...each! I found a service receipt in one, just an interim oil service, £950, oil, filter, pollen filter, 1 wiper blade (£60 ) and a bulb. Labour was £600! Better off with the VW Phaeton.
I hate Bentleys. The only reason they exist is for fat businessmen to say to the world, "hey! look at me! I've got more money than sense! so much money, in fact, that I can go out and blow more money on a car than you used to buy your house!" Disgusting cars for disgusting people.
HIAG, you're right, but a local trader of mine can't get enough of them, there's so many available from businessman having a tough time (first thing to go when times are hard is the car!) for peanuts. Mind you, its about a grand a month depreciation on a say 3-5 yr old one, so its not all roses.
And that's the snag, right there, notso. Depreciation. I'd rather blow the money on an oldish Ferrari or Lambo. Something that's likely to go up in value, rather than down. Mind you, as someone who has owned many an old supercar over the years, the cost of maintaining the bastards is no laughing matter.
I was surprised how badly put together some old Ferraris are, terrible electrics. I like bikes myself, and Ducati's are the same. I've come to the conclusion that Italians and electricity just don't get on!
Love how quickly a thread about Bentley turned into a discussion on cars, shows a lot about the man's time at Spurs.
Who is paying his wages while he recovers from injury? The sooner he is no longer a Spurs player the better.
Hopefully, the Spammers! I couldn't agree more. Why we haven't just realised we made a mistake, and cut our losses a long time ago, I don't know.
It would certainly appear we are paying a % until Jan at least. Not a good situation for anyone, really hoped he would get back to his old self with us, hope he makes a quick recovery.
