Very sad really and an insight into a footballers life! I do think that the family issue is a problem and he obvioulsy held his wife as a priority, but it is a WAG's tale. Its not like he moved country or changed culture and she was only a couple hours drive away, TP commuted from Sandbanks for christ sake! Anyway I think he was a crackin player and its nice to see him talk about the club/TP so favourably - all though I do think he is being very diplomatic - almost an honour amongst theives! One point I thought that was interesting was that (and its not a rant about TP!!!) he thoight he could adapt to the "Style" of play at Stoke bought found that he could just undo everything he had learned in his footballing career! This for me is something that is going to affect alot of talented footballers who come for clubs who play more free f,lowing football! The amswer, who knows? Maybe dont buy them!
Interesting listening to that.. But why did Kitson move to Stoke in the first place. Fair play to him I thought he would do well but he was unlucky his first few games could have scored 3/4 times with a little more luck if I remember? It didn't work out so we've both moved on now.
