Said it yesterday after Blackpool game that he was a gonner. In fairness to Wednesday, they gave him a fair crack of the whip and kept him on after a poor season last term. Not fond of his always blame the Ref mantra. No great loss.
I'm not a big fan of Dave, but before posting comments like those above, you should note he lost his job, spent a year fighting a case where it was found, he had no case to answer. I'm all for a bit of banter, but what happened to him was pretty dreadful & could happen to someone close to you if they are in a position of trust. Maybe a five second think before posting the 'funny' ay chaps.
It will always stick for two reasons, a no case or not guilty doesn't mean they didn't do it, just that there's not enough evidence to get a conviction. Also a not guilty verdict doesn't mean they didn't do it, just that there wasnt enough evidence to convict them. We need a third verdict like the jocks, guilty, not guilty and not proven. A not guilty verdict would truly absolve the person then but it doesn't now.
Jones is from the same mould as Hughes .................. They both have the charisma of a funeral director and or are as inviting as a fart in an elevator, take your pick.
