Two-time world darts champion Jocky Wilson died on Saturday night at the age of 62.
Wilson turned professional in 1979 and rose to fame after he claimed the 1982 and 1989 World Championships.

He played in the days when professional darts was still not much more than a glorified pub game, where the players were often half cut whilst playing...It's moved on a hell of a lot now where the players and events are for more professional....
Having said that, Jockey was one of the real characters of the game who seemed to have the respect of all his fellow players..

    Dart's was a distraction.

my mate's son (he was 18 at the time) beat him in some tournament and jocky refused to shake his hand which was pretty embarrassing for him, but still a sad day for darts R.I.P. Jocky
