Darren Purse has signed until the end of season. The talk had been an eighteen month contract, not just to the end of this season. One reason could be that it might depend on us staying in the Football League..........if we do would he stay another year ?
I'm glad that he's signed even if its only until the end of the season. We probably wouldn't be able to afford his wages if the worst happens and we end up playing in the non-league.
Absolutely agree. We had enough of relegations and contracts we could not afford previously. This obviously suits both parties so not a problem for me. Glad it is sewn up anyway even if it was expected.
As has been said. End of season and if we are in a better position I reckon he will sign for another 12mths. The key thing is that he has signed. COYG!
