Basicaly darren is saying capello told him to move if he wanted to get into england now capello hasnt ventered more north then matchester and tells Newcastle (andy carroll) and Sunderland (DB) players to move to get into the england team this cant be right

If there is one ounce of truth in the latest revelation from DB that Capello told him to leave Sunderland in order to get into the England set-up then Capello should be hauled over the coals. Who you play for should have no bearing whatsoever on whether your picked for England. The only criterion should be, are you good enough. The sooner this scum bucket is gone the better.

 

I remember this was being said at the time - also I remember Crapello saying that Bent would have a better chance of an England place plaing in a team that showed he wasn't a one dimensional player (I'm paraphrasing from memory)

I already despised Crapello but that just turned the anger up a notch. Until he goes I won't even root for England in most games any more. He's a complete ****e.

As for Bent... I think it's a poor man who allows themselves to be blackmailed and cajoled like that - the honourable thing would have been to stay and blow the lid off the whole corrupt can of worms.

What had Crappello got against the NE anyway? It baffles me.

 

So apart from despising Bent for being greedy, we can add spineless as well, but we can now add Capello for just being a dick...and as for Bruce, well, not sure what else he can do be even more despised..other than stay another week.
