Given the seriousness of Darren Bent's ankle ligamnet injury, I suspect Villa may now be against extending Nathan Delfouneso's loan deal with us - which is a shame - the kid has shown some nice touches in his limited appearences. Hope I'm wrong and they allow him to stay (with a view to a pemanent deal in the summer - after the FA Cup final!!!). On the plus side, both Schlupp and Waggy don't appear to be too far away from full fitness and it will be good to have all our options availabl ASAP.
Jeff Schlupp has said on twitter today he is playing in a reserve match. That is good news, hopefully Waghorn plays aswell
I think if neither Waghorn or Schlupp are close to the first team Nigel might go into the loan market for a striker. They cant be too far away if Schlupp is playing in a reserves match and Waggy doesnt sound too far but maybe getting someone in short term might take some of the pressure off to get them fit asap
