Furlong agrees month loan spell at League Two side Young right-back set for first spell out on loan 19 year-old could make Cobblers debut this weekend YOUNG QPR defender Darnell Furlong has joined Northampton Town on loan. Darnell, son of former R's legend Paul, has agreed a one month deal with the League Two side, which runs until October 10th. The 19 year-old made his QPR debut against Hull City in the Premier League last season and went on to make a further two appearances in the top-flight before sustaining an injury. Since then, he has been restricted to just one appearance this term, in our Capital One Cup second round defeat to Carlisle United. Furlong could be in line to make his Cobblers debut against Oxford United this weekend.
