This could easily have been a keane or Bruce performance.Mr O'Neill, the midfield we are putting out just is'nt working,we cant buy anyone so we must give someone else a go.Larsson on the right, Johnson left, Mayler and Vaughn/Gardner middle and drop mclean the boy is clueless.We are wasting the two decent players we got in the summer.Get the basics right and lets play some footy.
This was worse than some of the Bruce teams performances imo and that's saying something. We looked like complete rank amateurs today and it was embarrassing at times.
Men against boys. Sunday league teams would put more effort in. Sess & Jimmy have been **** all season.
Billy, its a along time since I was this embarrassed (the Halloween Horror show tbh) and this was a performance as poor as that imo. We could have lost today 7 or 8 nil and I wouldnt have complained. We were gash all day. Get it sorted Marty and sooner rather than later.
We were playing the champions. If we were gonna have a bad day this was the time to do it NOT in 2 weeks time. Too many players were poor today inc JC who put in his worst ever performance for us, looked terrifed. Jimmy mac poor again, Seb not contributing enough. No creativity. Bardo must come back in for the scumbag game and release Gards into the middle. Hopefully MON can see certain players are right out of form at the mo, injuries have caused us to play people out of position BUT we have a couple of weeks to change this prior to our 3 points off our great unwashed cousins from up the road.
As its stands kidda, we will get another home disappointment on this form and Cabaye, Tiote and Ben Arfa will make mince meat out of our midfield.
On the other hand, when we did get the ball moving forward we looked a bit menacing ,Vaughan, known for his ability to get things moving didn't improve us any more than Saha or Campbell. We weren't doing that badly until around the 60th minute and looked quite menacing at times -in other words we were doing quite well, as were Danny Rose and Sess! Fletcher was our best player out there and until Rose went off, we looked like we might score a goal and in fact, we nearly did quite a few times. I thought we were having a go and I wasn't disappointed. The last 30 minutes were dire we got hammered today. We need Bardsley back, Cattermole on the pitch and for Vaughan/Larrson/McClean to step up with a fully fit Johnson/Sessegnon. FFS, when we were down to the bare bones last season due to injuries we still went on to win games, what's happened to our mettle?
agree with this, we were decent in patches today and i think its been a massive over reaction with some people on here, we were never gona win today unless city had another **** game and we were on fire!!!! well we wernt on fire and city played well second half, better teams then us will be beaten by city at there ground this season... definitely wasnt embarrassing 3-0 against the champions so ****.....
