We released him because of injuries - tore his ACL or something like that on his dodgy knee. Takes about a year to recover which he must have done now - good luck to him.
Vassell was crap Had pace and worked hard but nothing ever come of his effort He is very much like Jamie Vardy
I liked him, could never understand why he got so much stick. Was wasted out wide but looked good on rare occasions played as a striker. I understand I may be in the minority here again as I am with Konchesky.
Think you are with Konchesky - perhaps not with Vassell ... he was dangerous because of his pace ... but arguably a far better athlete than footballer tbf.
