... It´s in our own hands, but I´m no where near sure we´d do any good in the prem. Who wants to get battered ever week, get relegated & lose all your best players in the process like ´Dull ****y´ will next season... I mean getting beat 5-0 by average teams, no fun.
I hope your joking...FFS !!!! Thats the spirit! Of course we are not good enough "currently" for the Prem as Cardiff are not or Hull/Watford, but they will strengthen as would we. Jesus, we cannot pick and choose when we go up lol. Even if we came straight back down, then we would be a lot better off financially. Got to look at the bigger picture my old mate.
Cardiff have gone through really bad runs in previous seasons and still made play offs, good luck to you. jck
Dont forget how much money we have, mate. Why do people always forget this? You think the owners want us to go back down after investing so much? Pulease.
You'ev had the right idea this season. Get promoted before you can bottle it But really, good luck in the promised land, you'll love it. BUT, i'd rather be relegated in blue than promoted in red
Dull ****ty Inspiring wit and imagination to come up with such an original... insult I'm guessing it is? Well done old chap.
Anyone who says Dull City is as much of a half wit as anyone who says Leicesteristan. The latter insult is for the truly thick with a splash of ignorant racist thrown in. Neither are funny in the slightest and anyone caught using either of these these phrases is a ****. FACT.
We spend a decent amount. There is already foundations set with Schmeichel, De Laet, St. Ledger, Morgan, King, Drinkwater, James, Knockaert, Marshall, Dyer, Wood, Schlupp, Nugent Nigel would spend about 20M meaning we would have a decent chance. Sign some of the best championship players, have a look at the relegated sides, look for some proven prem and then look for the next "Anthony Knockaert"

Could Nige handle 5 million pound plus players? Purely for financial reasons I hope you go up but Nigel wouldn't half struggle unless he changes his outlook.
Very much so. Oh I´m sorry, do forgive Sticks & stones Refer to top. Having an outstanding innings then.
Including Nugent and St Ledger in there weakens your argument - neither would get in any current premiership side with the possible exception of Reading - and look where they are headed ... others have 'potential' rather than being guaranteed successes - Lloyd Dyer is the enigma - playing with confidence he can worry the very best of defenders - at other times he look a bit like a park player ...
Putting the tribalistic club loyalty aside for the moment - very good points Carmine - the rumours of fall outs with Wood and Knockaert on top of the obvious ones with Mills, Beckford and Danns are a cause for concern on that front ...
The reason I included St. Ledger is because he has always held his own on the international stage. I can't see Nugent starting every week in the prem but he would have a role still. Lloyd Dyer would be a great option in any league. If he is used properly his pace coming off the bench would be a very good option
Ledger is gash at this level never mind premiership. You'd definitely sign someone else, maybe James Chester. Pearson had fall outs with players here too, I think give him 2/3 years to build up and develop a team of young yes men and he could do a fantastic job. Given the nature of football nowadays and the lust for instant success I doubt he'd get that time anywhere, and if you go up may struggle due to NP's ego and inability to tolerate having any characters behind the scenes. Most proven premier league players available to promoted sides are either total ****ers or over the hill journeymen.
