If EVER you wanted more proof that Wenger has well and truly lost the plot, then this is it: http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20150903/danny-welbeck-undergoes-knee-surgery This news just makes it bloody inexcusable that we didn't get another striker, and makes it more baffling that we got rid of players like Akpom! Wenger is literally leaving us weak. How on earth can anyone defend this? I tell you, every time, everytimeeeeeee Wenger just proves more and more why fans like me want him gone.
So we literally have one proper CF at the club right now, so it's back to square bloody one. Wenger knows best right? We are a shambles, such a disgraceful club, with all the money we have, and the money we the fans spend, to have a club going into the season with only one fit striker. And then we're really supposed to believe this club has ambitions to win the league, are you kidding me? We are a joke, with a clown in charge.
You're not much different than us, if Kane get's injured who then? I mean you do have Adebayor, but he's so practically useless nobody relies on him as an actual back up. That's why your fans are just as pissed off as we are about the striker situation.
Yes you are right. That poor Giroud, sitting in the stands on his multi-million salary. My heart would break for him.
Just check out the comment section from our Facebook page announcing this: Yeah, consensus seems pretty loud and clear that A LOT of fans are not happy. The club just like last year, has turned all optimism and hope into a big shovel of **** and have created a negative and toxic atmosphere around this club. Good job.
I can fully understand not making this public prior to TDD as it would up fees and what not but to not actually look for a replacement is truly baffling. I presume that's what happened anyway as I didn't hear a sniff of a credible striker rumour. Got to hope to holy hell that Giroud stays healthy and finds his touch again. Broken foot aside he's been one of our more robust players. I recall saying something similar about Vermaelen mind you and then he broke
Being serious (and I was joking above) do you think the feeling is strong enough for protests at the next home game?
Well...debatable. You made a public pursuit of a player and a series of low offers (current crazy climate pending) which consisted of feck all up front thus allowing West Brom to sign f*ck all as a replacement. No surprise they told you to do one. Sounded to me a bit like some of our unrealistic offers we've made in the past where the club has turned around and said "ah well, we tried".
Hopefully, but if the results stay bad, then can definitely see a protest before the United game next month. The way this club are currently handling things is a shambles, they've crossed their limits of ****ery.
The player himself was pretty vocal! The more important issue though was the manner of the offer which Peace himself made clear.
if we fail to score against Stoke in the next game (which is possible), and then loose to Chelsea, then the situation can get really tense before Spurs game.
Some ****ing idiot tried to organise a "Wenger Out" protest for Tuesday night outside the Emirates.Hundreds of people were retweeting and favouriting this on Twitter, the only problem was nobody turned up.The chances are the overwhelming majority wouldn't be able to find the stadium
There will be only one thing on our fans minds before the NLD and that will be supporting the team against our biggest rivals
