    Would like him to stay but he's not a big miss on or off the pitch, replaceable (Ridgewell?)

    Yes.. Can't we just give Simpson + Cash for Pieters/Cisscoco(Lyon/PSV).. I'm sure he's capable of playing in the French and Dutch league which is more technically-based and less about strength and power! But would Simpson move out of England?

    So what if he turned it down there are better full backs out there that we could buy even within our transfer policy. Look at the Fulham game where they had 2 free headers almost point blank Simpson was ball watching and nowhere near the player he should have been marking. I wouldnt be that disappointed if he was replaced. Atm I would play Santon and Raylor as the full backs.

    Probably not to be honest. He's got a kid here ain't he. Really can't see him wanting to move.

    But Santon Saylor Colo Pieters/Cissokho sounds like ACE to me!

    Well I don't think that Simpson is as bad as Perch : it's just because he doesn't get any help from our wingers that he seems so vulnerable. At the same time, I'd love to see Santon getting some playing time, so hard choice.

    I think Raylor has a very good shout to start at RB but I cant see him doing very well for long, so I think Simpson will win his place back sooner or later and the chopping and changing would be unhelpful in defence.
