Tottenham are looking to send Danny Rose out on loan. Last year I thought he did ok, without pulling up any trees. Though maybe that was because he did not compare well with the other loanee from there, Stephen Caulker. Spurs have played him at left back in several games, and from what I've seen he's done quite well. Could he be an option for us at left back?
Looked disinterested on occasions and was all too often caught in possession for me. Having said that he's still young and providing he has the coaching to improve his game, and is willing to learn, I'd have him back as a squad player.
Lightweight and a whinger. Spent loads of time on his back moaning at the ref to award him a free kick. I agree at times he looked disinterested.
He said in an interview a week and a half ago that he wouldn't consider a loan to a championship club, only premier league. So I guess it's a bit of a moot point anyway! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ts-Benoit-Assou-Ekottos-place-Spurs-team.html
I was disappointed with him going forwards but think it must have been our tactics as when he went back to spurs he got games and looked a good player. I did think we looked better at the back with him as the partnership him and macca had on the left work which is why it annoyed me when JCR plays on the left as he comes in too much and it leaves us then weak on that side which has lead to too many goals scored against us. I think under our new manager once he makes some new signing we will finally have a balance team which we haven't had in years
