Good luck to him, he deserved to be treated better. It shouldn't be him going out on loan while Diao and Sidibe remain in the squad.
As I said in a previous post a very strange decision by Pulis. It would seem that the majority of fans cannot understand the reasons behind it. Am I right in thinking that Pugh signed a 4 year contract last year? He hasn't been a regular over the past couple of seasons but he has always performed competently when called upon.
Wheres the logic? Mama is not good enough to play in the league if he were fit. Wasted place in the squad!
Pulis said sidebe as an important role to play for stoke city this season, my god noooo cannot fault tp in what he as done for stoke but this is absurd, pugh is far better than diao, as for mama nice guy but not good enough simple as that, danny pugh must be pig sick never let stoke down in my eyes and with respect to leeds he is far to good for the championship cmon tony wake up mate..
This is typical of T.P.... He has a soft spot for Mama same with Rory... much as I appreciate what BOTH have done for Stoke City... there day's are well and truly numbered. We now have, Walters, Jones, Crouch, Jerome, Fuller and Mama when fit.... WHO is going to make way for big Mama... I dare not think, yes he's useful but surly all of those forwards I mentioned before him rotate surely?.. League, League Cup, Europa Cup... Come on T.P. Enough is enough. IF Pulis thinks the Delap and Diao are BETTER than Danny Pugh, he's more versatile for a start? I must be missing something... AM I the ONLY one who is?
NO potts is the simple answer to that, tp spends 22 million and still picks diao he is hopeless, as for the big guy maybe i have a soft spot for the guy and i only hope he plays him in the league cup. At least he saw sense in collins
How Pulis can leave out Pugh is simply beyond belief, then to leave Diao and Sidibe in only adds insult to injury.
Regardless of the fact that we have 6 strikers, Sidibie has had a double recurring career ending injury and has not played a competitive match for over 12 months. How can a manager name a player in a squad, who is still at least 4-6 weeks away from attempting to play football and will probably need the whole of the season to get back to the sharpness required to play top level football! Its absolutley insane and would ahve made more sense to have sent him on loan to gain fitness and then include him in your squad after the next transfer window!
Surely the whole point is nobody wants Diao or Sidibe whereas somebody does want Pugh!! At the end of the day Pugh is a fringe player,and we could do with getting a couple more out on loan.Forget Diao going out on loan as nobody in their right mind would want him.
