This young trialist looks a bit special - he looks a natural to me. His goal yesterday (3rd in 3 games) against Chasetown for the Dev squad was a beaut.

I know we've got a lot of strikers right now, but none of them could have taken that goal of his any better. Pulled the ball back with the right peg to wrong foot the defender on the edge of the penalty box, swivel and hit it with his left right in the corner - keeper had no chance.

56 goals from 51 games for Guisborough in the Northern League last season is a hell of a tally. If he's still on trial with us, get him off it and on the books pretty sharpish.

Certainly looks worth a punt and knows where the back of the onion bag lives, if we have room for yet another striker. Interestingly, no Kiss, Velikonja, Mason or Healey playing last night. It was a pure Development team even with 9 subs.

From the report and despite the score they didn't have it all their won way and Chasetown had some good chances. Still boys v. men, we mustn't complain.

From the edited bits (about 4 minutes worth) on CC Player, Chasetown showed some very good stuff indeed. Quite slick for a non league side and they deserved a better scoreline.

Having said that, the City youngsters deserved the win. Harris again always looks a threat out wide, and that finish from Johnson for the third goal was sublime.
