I bet the commodore does, although I guess he's away as he hasn't been here for a few days.

What Rocky said, I'm sure the Captain has a file on him.

El Capitano will fill us in very soon. I think he's said he's quite useful!

Sorry for the delay in responding to this. Danny Ings is a fantastic prospect. Towards the end of the season he kept Dalla Valle out of the Bournemouth team. He's physically in the Joe Cole mould, rather than being a Zamora type, but he's strong with it for an 18 year old - I think the main reason he edged ahead of LDV was that he dealt better with the rough and tumble of league one.

I've seen him a few times, and the first time I saw him was something like his third or fifth game for Bournemouth. He tried (and pulled off) an audacious bit of skill on the edge of the box to make a shooting opportunity. I like his movement, his quality and his attitude. The thing that Bournemouth fans I know who have seen him more than me say against him is that he isn't a prolific goalscorer. He got 8 goals in 28 games this season, which isn't bad and I think that this is part of his game that could well blossom in time.

I'm not at all sure that he's ready for the Premier League, but he should certainly play at a higher level than league one before too long. Given his age and potential, £1 million isn't silly money. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him being transferred for ten times that or more in five years time. If we signed him I'd be delighted.
