Birmingham spend a combined £12m on 3 strikers, we sign a 35 year old who last drew a 30 game duck for Northampton Town. Personally I think the investors have run out of dough, at least for the time being, and Nathan Jones is now over doing the old pal’s act.
Latest from CAFC “We are pleased to confirm that David Pleat is joining the coaching team at Sparrows Lane. David is 79 years old and last saw meaningful action when out kerb crawling at Spurs , but his Luton connection makes him an invaluable addition to Nathan’s team “
LTFC on Twitter saying the source of Nathan Jones’ success with them was surrounding himself with players he trusts. He’s trying to replicate that method with us it seems. Just waiting for the “very good signing excellent player” post from BB…
I can only see it as mainly a coaching role so not too bothered by it if he can install a bit of confidence/ calmness in front of goal
PS - St Andrews Octopus explanation - Somehow found time to get out of a 30,000 crowd where away fans were kept behind, get back to the car, order and eat a MacDonalds, post on ITTV at least 20 times. ban and delete posters / posts critical of him, all within 20 mins of Birmingham v Wrexham finishing. More arms than an octopus, taking multi tasking to new levels.
I can’t see NJ signing someone purely as a favour. HYlton has been signed as player/coach, so maybe he's one of those characters it's good to have around the place. This is why Curbs signed SCP for the 3rd time
If I had to quote all the things the Fat Controller got wrong, I would be here all night. Where are the three Bournemouth players? He is trying really hard to discredit me. Bless him.
