My mates a watford season ticket holder and there is a rumor flying around the Vic that we are after Graham...would be a good signing he tore us apart at home.
yes would like him down the bush qpranger but will be one of many rumours going around, but hope this one comes true!
5 Million for a boy who finishes like him is not alot but he did miss a chance from a couple of yards for the winner yesterday and you cant afford to miss them in the prem.
I think we need a proven Prem forward for next season, Graham is a decent player and may be worth a risk but for us to stay up we will need goals.
Would he fit into our system? I think he probably would, maybe giving a little more than Helguson as well.
Easy rollercoaster helg has been different class this season...to go out on loan and come back the way he has proves his professionalism...we owe watford
At around ã5m, Danny Graham would be an investment risk worth considering. He's been getting more and more effective over recent seasons. Could he do it in the prem? I think that depends on the supply line and system we use at the time.
I wasn't saying that Helgy has been bad, although he wasn't that brilliant at the start of the season, just that Graham could offer more, like a bit more pace and better shooting.
He's the sort of player Warnock would go for, but not at ã5M. Remember, we'll hopefully have Mackie back and raring to go by then. It'll be almost like having a new player on board.
I think the owners will be willing to invest in players likely to keep us in the prem. Youngish strikers like Graham must be worth a punt. If he comes good at that level, he could be worth three or four times the original purchase price in a year or two. Surely this must be the plan to clear the club's debts and see returns on investments. If not, what would be the point of having bought shares in QPR?
