I honestly believe there will have been people sat in the crowd watching Graham who would have got more than 1 goal in 41 appearances even blokes in their forties or fifties now summat would drop for them in the box from a corner or summat. Its pathetic that DG has that record and still we paid the bloke wages. I just thin Crouch would be worth the outlay with this new tv deal coming in soon. Unfortunately the game is all about money nowadays and its a bad season to go down if we do finally go, we can't escape every year, surely.

To be fair, crouch got 8 goals in the Prem last year, and his game has never been about pace. I think he could still do a job for the last half of the season. I was actually gonna suggest we go for him before we got N'Doye in, but it's one or the other for me. Personally would have preferred Crouchy personally but we'll see how this other fella works out.
AND the 1 goal he did score which was away to everton was a deflection! He tried to get out the way of it...

As NQ once said, you have to be a certain type to handle playing up here. It's one thing doing it at Swansea in front of 20k but another doing it in front of up to 45k restless fans. No offence meant to Swansea!
He's still ****e. However i'm grateful for that deflected goal and fully aware of it's importance...as someone on here said, you could take any person out the crowd and in 40 games they would fluke more than1 goal.
