Back to footballing matters, I guess the general consensus is that we couldn't give two ****s about Sunderland's threat to recall him in January?
Not really, but my issue is if they do recall him we really will be short on strikers. Prossy and Mclean are usless, Gedo hasn't had a look in and i don't think Fryatt is up to it. Leaving us with just Sagbo, so if they do we will really need a striker in asap.
If Graham goes back we will need 2 in January. Most Clubs try to have 4 strikers to call on. Given Fryatt, Proschwitz and McLean aren't considered good enough we would need Sagbo, Gedo and two others.
I don't think we want somebody who's going to be good later, we want somebody who can score goals now. What would bringing in a kid who'll score goals in the future do for us now?
Unless we have someone better lined up for the loan spot I'd try to keep hold of him. Even if we sign 3 strikers on permanents we don't really want them having any more options than is necessary when we're competing with them for survival.
What threat to recall him? With all this hoo-ha about the bloody name, I didn't think anyone gave a **** about football anymore.
If Graham goes then we sign Livermore and get Defoe and Hernandez on loan...... (Horsham Tiger : living in cloud cuckoo land)
We don't know if Gedo is good enough yet either and Brucey doesn't seem in any great rush to find out.
I am sure Sunderland will keep him with us, realistically they have a player in our squad that we keep playing, isnt scoring / winning us points, and we are at the moment relegation rivals. Laughing their socks off springs to mind.
good comment pal. Danny Graham will never play for us again so he be staying at hull all season lads. enjoy
Not if there's a recall loan in his contract he won't. He'll be back to you in January, under the pretense of injury recovery at his parent club. It'd be nice to see Gedo given a go against Palace, even if it's just for 15 minutes. Finbogasson or Hosiner would be nice....
