Just seen on Skysports web page and Twitter Norwich have put in a £5m bid for Danny Graham. Hope the news is true and he signs for us. expect Holty would be pleased too if he did as both of them are friends with each other

Just saw this on the pinkun site. I'd be more than happy to have him on board! Tenacious, good in the air but also a great touch/finish on him and will work his balls off for the team. Fingers crossed he doesn't go to Sunderland, but apparently he's a Newcastle fan so could work in our favour.

Yes but before we sell you must meet our clause, our chairman is stubborn he'd keep him with us and let him run down his contract like defries and pratley last year. We don't sell cheap anymore

    You've got that right!

Joe Allen may be this or that but I'm relatively sure Liverpool buying him for what they did merits a full financial investigation.

Get what you can take from Liverpool. No sympathy for them.

...until Newcastle put their bid on the table. He'd be a great signing for the Toon, a far better career goalscoring ratio than Carroll, and a far more complete footballer if you ask me. He's their kind of player and would do really well for them, if they could pick him up for £5m it would be a great move.
I'd love it if he came here, he is the one signing I'd like us to make this window but I'm not getting my hopes up too much.

If the other bid is for Hooper I imagine its technically the same £5m as we wouldn't buy both.
Definitely looks like McNally is done playing the waiting game and has found his moment to strike.

Would not be surprised if another name appeared. Seen a couple of rumours about Carlos Bacca from FC Brugge. Good goal scoring record. Anybody heard anything else about this?

I think CMS will be the other striker as Brighton signed there no 1 target on Wed?
He didn't come last window as they couldn't sign a replacement ?
Really hope we get DG though, but still think he'll be a Mackem

If we get Graham or Hooper or both players where will Holt be in the pecking order to start in a 4-4-1-1 formation? Will either want to play second fiddle to each other or to Grant Holt? If we go 4-4-2, which some fans are suggesting to bring variation, then any two from three to start. However, not sure if any of them would want to be the third person who doesn't start.

everyone has been moaning that we don't have enough striking options yet as soon as we chase two new ones, two good ones for that matter, people start worrying about how they will fit in the team! <laugh>

its really not for us to worry about. i guess at best we will only get one of them, so that narrows down the options immediately, then you'd have to assume that we will keep the same system more often than not so whoever it may be will come in for holt, or if holt continues to impress, they will sit on the bench and give us better options.

Haha, this did make me laugh!! Top sides have a number of decent players that get rotated round. Look at Welbeck and Hernandez.

And Holt was great coming on as an impact sub last season.

Absolutely no problem with competition for places. It's healthy!!
