    Just seen this on SSN.

Decent enough, but not remotely close to what we need. Not even in the right ****ing shop with this one.

This is from sky sports mate. All just speculation imo.

Typical that we would be interested in another mag who I know is no SAFC fan and how would that effect his derby games? Another Chopra scenario imo.

Connor Wickham just as good for me and has potential to be better.

No point wasting 5-6m on him.

MoN is going to buy us a load of rubbish this window

Great man motivator but not adventurous at all when it comes to transfers

Graham cnt even get in swansea's team when michu plays in midfield, that luke moore has been playing lately

    Ffs!

I know that; you know that; most of the crowd and the lads on here know that but sadly, MoN just doesnt fancy the lad or else he wouldnt have put McFadden on last night instead of him.

I feel very sorry for Connor, as he must have felt things would be so different up here when he signed. I think he has improved in recent weeks but sadly I think he will also be off either this window or certainly the summer, without a fair crack of the whip to see what he could do here.

He is just as good as Frazier Campbell apart from Frazier has pace. I hope this is not true.

I would much rather we go for Shane Long, Hooper or Charlie Austin

Charlie Austin is going to be a player imo. The kid has goals stamped all over him.

I swear the scouting system we have at the club is non existent there must be some diamonds out there for 5 to 6 million , yep as I keep saying oneil very set in his ways does not like to look abroad if he can help it

Charlie Austin I think would be a good singing and agree he is a natural goal scorer

The scouting is shambolic, no question.

If we are going for a forward, it should be Hooper, as he's different, and he has so many attributes, we won't, we'll go for someone like Graham, who is by no means a bad player, but he will not improve us.

We will lose Connor if we continue to stunt his career, and then we can watch on as he progresses his career thinking we ****ed up, again.

We did so well to get the lad, and we are in danger of ****ing it.

Problem is mate there are as many pitfalls and lumps of coal to be found overseas, as there are diamonds? We are not in a position to gamble and proven, know players are a better option. If we were top 7 or 8 and could gamble on 1 or 2 unknowns then fine but if we did that this window and they didn't come off we'd be up **** creek for sure.

Fair point ,trouble is it is just a cycle then we buy players like graham who has some prem experience are ok but still really won't improve us, so we sell players like Vaughan , Meyer ,and replace with the same level of player .why oneil just doesn't play wickham is beyond me

There's a bit of talk about him being on the move ain't there.

Jordan Rhodes was a lad I touted round last January and again this summer. He is a good lad and has shown he can step up very quickly from the 3rd tier and score championship goals (13 in 22 games for Blackburn I think).

    I'd definitely go for him.

Was with you on Rhodes mate and I reckon Austin would be a good bet as well however, MON has to use them as CFs and not in the hole as CMs that is where he is going wrong, square pegs and all that.
