It was a weekend of Danny Graham misses when you watched MOTD and TFL show. Graham is not alone by any means. At least we are creating the chances and Graham is getting into positions. It is just a matter of time. Cut Graham some slack ffs.
My post was not intended to criticize Graham in the slightest if that's how you're interpreting it. I personally believe he will come good and regain his confidence, but that we should be patient. I was attempting to demonstrate through the link to the Spanish press reports that even the super rich superstars are under pressure to perform immediately by impatient journalists and over-expectant supporters. In other words, I am ( probably obtusely), supporting your exact point - give the lad some slack and don't put him under even more pressure that can have a negative impact on a player trying to get out of a slump. My final four words....."but make it soon", was an attempted sarcastic comment on the stupidity of unnecessary pressure put on players. I'm on your side here...
From that point alone, compared to Graham's 10k per week (or whatever it is), the pressure of expectation on Bale must be IMO far higher, and as a human being & professional footballer may well feel it much more. Not to the point of being petrified, but he'll want to prove his worth under more difficult circumstances.

listen its only a matter of numbers and testing patience. He will have his patience Bruce will have his You have yours and I have mine. If we do cut some slack he may score or he may be on a 20 game drought. Do you feel it is reasonable to allow that to happen? So it goes back to numbers. I'm getting on his back after 4 games of the season you may do so after 10 games some may wait a whole season. I'm upset for prozzy and also fryatt because graham is he keeping Them Well away from even sitting on the benj yet he hasn't avhieved more than them
I think there's actually a lot of similarities between the styles of Graham and Fryatt, they're both decent on the ball and they're both slow. I think Fryatt would have scored by now and I definitely have him on the bench for now.
