So reads an article in today's Western mail. Don't think there's a cat in hell's chance of it happening myself but I thought I'd put it up for you posters to chew over. The only valid reason they put forward is that Danny rates Malky as a manager because he successfully played under him at Watford. As we know, some players do respond better to some managers than others and Danny isn't really getting games with us....... Of course, there are lots of reasons why this is a no go, which we all know about but it will be interesting to read your views.
If Danny wants to take a massive step down in quality and if Cardiff are willing to pay the £5 million for player then I don't particularly have an issue with it, so I wouldn't imagine the board and manager would have a problem. And besides we all know that like all little brat brothers they have to get the hand me downs in this day and age of austerity.
I did read this somewhere last week (don't know if it was posted by someone on here) I don't think it's that unlikely to be honest. Alky likes Danny and vice versa, and I wouldn't mind betting that Laudrup would like to get shot, especially if we're talking in the 5 million region. . I can't see their fans being happy about it, but since when did their opinion matter to their club?
excellent player at championship level, could yet make it as a good premiership player...... in terms of price, maynard came here for about £2.75m i think, £5m not a cats chance in hell though, we can get far better value from that money elsewhere.
Agreed. Couple that with the fact that Alky knows him well and knows what he can do at championship level too. Was it about 35 goals in a 5hit Watford side? He could make the difference to them in their promotion push...so I hope he stays put
yeah i`d give danny a chance>>>not for 5mil mind thats well over the top for a player that cant even get into the swansea team with the likes of moore there infront of him tell ew what we`ll have him on loan and you boys can foot the bill hows about that for a good deal for both clubs
what happens if michu gets injured who have u got left 2 cover>>>>if i were ew i`d keep hold of danny justin casey
I agree, lets just keep him until the summer at least, if we stay up then maybe he would want to move onto another club,if not playing games, if we go down(sorry,i am a realist) then we have a proven ccc striker on the books that will be a big advantage to push for prem again. DG must stay IMO.
Danny boy is a very proven striker at Championship level, he was the top Championship striker before Rodgers signed him, and he got a respectable 12 goals in his first Premiership season with us, something Jason Scotland couldn't do, so I'm not happy with him going to Kairdiff as he could very well tip things in favour of bringing the Capital rabble up, which is not what we want, and on top of that we paid £3.5 Million for him, so no way would I let him go for under £4.5 Million, Hell I'd prefer us to help Blackpool, or middlesbrough, before the tits up the road!................
very mature take on things phil>>>>.../....some would call pathetic most probably, but im more shocked at someone who seems 2 have an eye on the big picture(corrupt governments blah blah blah) but yet goes into child mode for a football team >>>>>?thats right a fking football team!!!! stupid crap phil it really is butty>>>> norway good man its nice 2 see a mind free from crap.....
Politics and football are two different things aber dude! No way would you lot, hand over a top striker like Graham to us, and just because he's down the pecking order, due to Laudrup, doesn't wipe out his track record! By the way it's a point of view, live with it!............. please log in to view this image
Just one word...........SELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
A striker who is on the pop all the time is no good to us. He will be going with Laudrups boot up his ars*.
Danny Graham will not sign for Cardiff no chance of that happening at all. To begin with they cannot afford his wages or the transfer fee.
