Sat by one of the players dads today ( won't say which one ) - he told me we're in for both of these and Graham in particular is very likely. Good chance of Lewis Mc too. Thoughts? We've also put a request for J.Williams on a season long loan he expects to be turned down - and in talks with two others also..... Not a wind up!
Funny coz my daughter saw a goal by LM today on you tube and asked me about him as she thought he looked good!! She is football mad btw but a Barca fan!!
McGugan would be interesting.. not been Watford long and still seems to get game time. Danny Graham is an odd one, a few years ago he was one of the most sought after strikers in the league, seems to have been distinctly average since leaving Swansea so hopefully will come cheap... but as with McG has a point to prove and in need of an environment he can thrive in. Also seemed to score most of his goals inside the box so could be the poacher we have been crying out for...
I guess we'll see if that's a load of rubbish or not. Mick is definitely in talks with quite a few. Williams season long loan a possibility also. Williams wasn't in the Palace squad yesterday, and Warnock wants four more in..............
Morning Westy!! Why has LM been told he wont play for Watford again? Is he a trouble maker or big time Charlie, we know MM does not like players like that!!
I really don't know re Lewis McGougan. Not sure! I don't see how on earth he would fit into us either really unless straight out wide!? Surely not strong enough for a Mick 4-4-2! I can see Graham having some substance though!
Yeah I wasn't sure how accurate this guy was. He was definitely the players dad though, was showing me messages on his phone and other guys were winding him up all game! I can see Graham having some substance mind you - apparently he's definitely leaving.
surely we cant afford Grahams wages unless its a loan deal. Also although i think he is a good player, Im not sure what he really offers us in terms of style of play
Is that a reputable source Weighty. If Graham gets his mojo back I see him as a valuable asset up front.
Danny Graham will run his heart out for your club. He did for us and Swansea, I don't quite understand what Sunderland and Middlesbrough thought they were doing with him though. There was talk he was coming back to Watford and a number of fans got quite excited at the thought. Lewis McGugan, on the other hand, is mercurial. Some days brilliant other days he seems to lack an interest. He will score spectacular goals though.
