So....our chief playmaker and organiser is out....i dont want to be sat here in 5 or 6 weeks time lamenting the fact that we lost some games on the back of him not playing !!!
There must be no excuses ! We have a big enough squad and enough leaders and experienced players to cover for what is a major loss given his recent form and particularly his kicking game which has been nothing short of sensational.
People like Brown, Robinson and co need to step up to the plate and fill the gap like he wasnt missing, easier said than done, but all sides get injuries, and the test of a real championship challenging side is how you deal with them, how you respond and how you shape up coming out the other side.
Maybe the next five or six weeks will define our season, are we good enough, collectively, as a team, or are we a bit of a one trick pony ? i think we are good enough....but time is going to be the judge of that !
