Now I have got a dilemma, being a Bristol boy I always want Bristol to be right at the top of the tree, now tomorrow Danny Wilson and Matty Hill visit the northern, wild and unexplored regions of Bristol, you know what humanity is like up there and it stinks... Danny was a good and fair manager for us for 4 years and I liked him,my question,do I want Danny and Matty to win being ex-City or the 4th tier outfit and what score..? Sod it,Danny and Matt 3 -0 "gasheads". That'll do I... http://www.sheffieldtelegraph.co.uk/sport/sheffield-united-wilson-set-to-feel-the-heat-1-5087439
I liked wilson, had a really solid league 1 team under him for 3-4 years just a shame he's cursed when it comes to the play offs I said it on their board and i won't change my mind, sheff u 8-0 saggys
Like many on here, thought when we had Wilson as manager we played entertaining football. We used to chant just like watching Brazil If only we turned up to play against Brighton things could of been different for Danny
Wilson presided over the best squad in L1 for 4 years at City and yet managed to keep City down in L1. Talked a great game. As for attacking - don't agree. Could give lots of examples but 2 in particular - 1/ Playing Matt(can't pass)Hill over Mickey Bell in the Cardiff P/O 2nd leg at AG - how attacking was that. I used to argue with Steve Phillips about Hill, he preferred Hill because Belly was always looking to attack. Then, for a laugh he'd throw it to Hill because Hill always HID. He'd wave at me pissing himself. 2/ What about Leroy Lita - Wilson, unbelievably, didn't play him in the Brighton final at the Millennium and yet he was 1st on the team sheet 3 months later when Wilson had been sacked. Attacking - not in my eyes. Just a lucky bugger in charge of a great squad - what would McInnes do now for a 'Tinman'.
